Registering for the BetRoyal.com sportsbook site is fairly simple, although there is a “clear all” button where the “submit” button should be, causing me to have to register twice. However, they do offer some customizable options, such as decimals versus fractional lines, currency and filtering for emails. The BetRoyal.com betting navigation isn’t rocket science, but it isn’t smooth either. They clump together an entire sport into a small three by three inch box, which also goes to show how little variation they provide.
BetRoyal Sportsbook - Deposit/Withdrawals
BetRoyal.com Deposit and withdrawal options include the following:
Credit cards, online check deposit, Firepay, checks and NETeller, Solidpay, Person to Person and Money Transfer. Pretty standard stuff.
With withdrawals, on the other hand, there are all kinds of royal restrictions. For example, all withdrawal requests must be submitted between 9:00 AM and 17:00 PM EST Monday to Friday (excluding official holidays) by calling BetRoyal.com Royal Sports Client Services Department. I don’t even know when 17 o’clock is.
In addition, to these time constrictions, if you haven’t wagered your bonus and deposit amount three times, your bonus will be REVOKED. Most sportsbooks won’t release bonuses until you have made the required bets. Like a tyrant king, BetRoyal.com will just take it from you.
BetRoyal Sportsbook - Betting Types
In a land such as America, where democracy rules, we have no concept of royal courts, jokers and castles. We also know nothing about cricket, rugby and Australian rules football. It seems BetRoyal.com is more of a European sportsbook, although they do dabble in exotics like Big Brother 6, the next Pope and next celebrity arrested in the USA. As far as the online gambling wager types, there are no props and very little options besides the half and quarter bets. Things like point buying, if wins and action reverses are not the kind of action you’ll get here.
BetRoyal Sportsbook - Bonuses and Promotions
BetRoyal.com claims to give you a 45% signup bonus, but it’s really only 10%. The other 35% comes in the form of free-plays, casino and horse bonuses. 45%. That’s just a ludicrous claim. You can also re-up with 10% cash or a 15% free-play, but only for “qualifying” deposits of a $100 or more. In other words, if you’ve been winning, you ain’t gonna qualify. Finally, receive a 10% referral bonus if your buddy deposits over $500 into his or her new account. This is the only bonus worth mentioning, since most sites give you the shaft with their measly $50 bonuses. At least BetRoyal.com gives you a percentage of the stake.
BetRoyal Sportsbook - Customer Service
BetRoyal.com has toll free numbers all over the world, as well as live chat, email and fax numbers for your servicing pleasure. But who cares? Everyone has such things. You want to know about speed and how capable these people are. Well, it took about five hours for the email response (which is a tad slow), the phone operator was quick and helpful, as well as the chat person.

With such a suspicious withdrawal policy, it’s no wonder that users are complaining about BetRoyal.com’s slow payouts. Sportsbooks that only do withdrawals at certain times and require call-ins seem a little second rate to begin with and this only confirms my suspicions.

The kingdom of BetRoyal.com is like a successful BBC television show trying to make it in the States, only to find Americans don’t care for British humor (i.e., Weakest Link, Coupling, The Office). BetRoyal.com wagers are limited, their payouts slow and when it comes down to it, the sportsbook simply can’t compete with some of the more attractive online gaming sites out there. But they do offer cricket.
