YouWager.com |
| Short Description |
: |
Like the name implies, First Fidelity (YouWager.com) tries to remain customer friendly with secure servers, guaranteed same day payouts and pictures of super hot chicks answering your calls. They also have a nice website, with easy navigation, Las Vegas rules and respect of the users. On the other hand, their bonuses are misleading and their customer service is subpar, which goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover. |

YouWager.com Professional Review |
| By Kris Takahashi |
|
|
YouWager.com's website looks a lot like some snooty sports hangout, with all the burgundy colors and expensive looking font. There's also a picture of a classic Redskins-Cardinals game from 1812 and yes we all know how heated that Redskins/Cardinals game was back then. Right up there with that War of 1812 thing. Yes.
NETeller, Firepay and the credit card. Fine print on the credit card says those purchases could be treated as cash advances. It appears NETeller is the money thingy of choice for smaller-end sites, while larger sites such as Wallstreet or Aces can afford to mask credit purchases through third parties. Withdrawals also must first go against the credit card and may take as many as ten business days to process. Ouch. In any case, there doesn't seem to be much leeway with YouWager.com if you don't have NETeller.
Although for the most part the available wagers are standard, there are no overnight lines for the NBA, which might be annoying for anyone who's trying not to get fired for browsing the web at work. And some people are firewalled from the internet at work and some people work at McDonald's and their lives are just total hell. In any case, no overnight lines is not a good thing. YouWager.com does offer futures, props, teasers, reverses and if bets, along with agent reports on the lines to help confuse, er, I mean advise, you on the wager you're about to make.
20% reload bonuses and a 70 to 100% sign up bonus. The catch? It's not a cash match, it's a bonus package. When I asked what that entailed, I was told that I needed to provide them with more information about myself. Why yes, I am a midget, a cripple and what does this have to do with the bonus?
Average customer service. Not very friendly. They did, however, employ the use of a picture of a hot customer service chick next to the phone number, but as I have learned these are merely paid actors posing as customer service reps. For that I was a little miffed, but understood that sex sells and I am a compulsive buyer.
Players online generally have good things to say about Fidelity. No problems, first class sportsbook and there's really no reason to think badly about it. With that said...
You know how sometimes you have a girlfriend who's really great, you never fight and you have a lot in common, but there's really no excitement in the relationship? So what do you do? You cheat on her, but keep it a secret so you don't lose your girl. That's the vibe I get from YouWager.com. It's like an old school book, with no real surprises. You keep it because it's dependable, it's stable, but you definitely need to keep a second book around, one that has the crazy action bets and monster teasers. And that's why they get the Hillary Clinton award, for being old faithful.
